A 14 year old boy has died after
exploding a fire cracker during a "Katina "Procession of a Temple at Katana Police division yesterday (01).
The critically injured boy had succumbed to his injuries after admission to Negambo Base Hospital .
The incident occurred when the boy had attempted to light a fire cracker when the Katina procession parading in the street at Atambagahawatte area,North Kadirana in Katana .
However as the firecracker which he lit and thrown to the ground didnt explode the child was injured when the firecracker which he checked had suddenly exploded in front of him it has been revealed .
