Wild Life Officers attached to Walikanda Wild Life Office have recovered a body of a Wild Elephant died due to electrocution near the Central Dispensary at the Aselapura ,Welikanda area this morning (13).Wild Life officers have launched a search operation to arrest the person or persons responsible for the death of Wild Elephant .
The post mortem of the deceased Elephant is scheduled to be held this evening (13) by a Veterinary Surgeon it has been revealed.
