A 27 year old Filling Station worker was shot and killed by two unidentified gunmen arrived in from a Motorcycle at Fuel Station in Godawela area ,of Polgahawela-Kurunagala main road in the wee hours of this morning (11).The deceased had faced the situation when he had attempted to prevent the two unidentified gunmen from steeling cash money belonging to the filling station it has been revealed.The robbers had stolen the cash of the station and fled away from the area according to police.
The deceased was a resident of Aranayake area .
