CID Head Says Not Satisfied The Way Security Forces Acted After Easter Sunday Attacks

The head of the Criminal Investigations
Department  (CID) Senior Deputy Inspector General Of Police  (DIG)Ravi Seneviratne has said today  (24)that he cannot be satisfied on the actions taken by Security forces after informing  them about the chief planner of the Easter Sunday attacks Mohommad Zahran on 26 th of January this year.

Giving evidence before the Parliamentary Select  Committee probing over Easter Sunday attacks today at Parliamentary Complex the CID Head has stressed  that CID has informed about Zahran to Inspector General  of Police  (IGP)Pujith Jayasundara through a letter soon after receiving an information regarding the Easter attacks from State Intelligence Unit .

He has also stated that CID couldn't find substantial evidence to proof that ISIS Terrorist group was linked with this attack and few persons  of the Towheed Jamaath Terrorist group which led the Easter Sunday attacks   had requested ISIS Leader Abu bucker  through a third party to issue A
