The charges of the Passport had been
increased with effective from today (01)accordance to the 2019 Annual Budget proposals .
Accordingly charges of a passport when getting through a normal service had been increased by Rs.500 from Rs.3000 to Rs.3500 and the one day service had been increased from Rs.10,000 to Rs.15,000 .The charges of the Passport issues to those under 16 years old for a 03 year period had been increased by Rs.500 for the normal service (Rs.2000 to Rs.2500)and one day service Had been increased by Rs.2500 (Rs.5000-7500) the Government Information Department has announced .
The Rs.500 fee charged when changing details of a passport had been increased to Rs.1000.
