Colombo High Court Judge Gihan
Kulathunge had today (17)senteneed the Goal keeper of a popular local soccer club Kamal NiShantha allias "Mahattaya" to life time rigorous imprisonment over smuggling Narcotics internationally from Dubai and keeping 4.03 Grammes of Heroin in possession .
The accused Goal keeper had been arrested by the police at Dam Street in Colombo Fort on 11 th of August 2013 with 4.03 Grammes of Heroin in possession .
The suspect who is a resident of Keselwatte area has been identified as an aide of a Narcotic smuggler Keselwatte Dinuka .
Attorney General had filed indictments against the accused at Colombo High Court over Heroin smuggling.
Government Analyst has also confirmed that the haul of Heroin taken in to custody by the police in possession of the suspect was pure Heroin .
