Weligama Police have yesterday (08) recovered a Motor Car belonging to the Tele Drama Actor
Ryan Von Rooyen who was arrested with the Powerful Sri Lankan Underworld Gang member and Drug Kingpin Makandure Madush in Dubai, parked At Sunshine Tourist Resort in Mirissa, Weligama (Southern Province). with 5750 Mili Grammes of Kerala Cannabis stored inside the Car.
The owner of the Tourist Resort where the Car was parked known as Amila Prasanga Hettihewa allias "Suranji Sudda" had been also arrested in Dubai along with Madush during a raid jointly carried our by Dubai Police , Special Police Task Force in Sri Lanka and Police Anti Narcotic Bureau on last Monday (04).
It has been revealed both Rooyen had stayed at the Resort few days prior to his departure to Dubai where he went along with the Tourist Resort owner "Suranji Sudda" .
Police officers have questioned the brother of Suranji Sudda and confirmed that the Car belonging to the Tele drama Actor Rooyen.The car taken in to custody had been registered under the name of a female at Uswetakeyyawa it has been revealed.
Weligama Police are conducting an investigation over the incident.
