Around 7007 Dengue Patients Reported From This Year

Around 7007 Dengue patients had been reported from the island during first 43 days of this year (From 01st of January to 12 th of February )according to Epidemiology Unit .

Out of this number 5314 Dengue patients had been reported from the month of January and 1693 patients had been reported during first 12 days of February .

The majority of the Dengue patients reported from Sri Lanka this year were from Colombo District it has been revealed. Around 1658 Dengue patients had been reported from Colombo this year.

Public had been requested to maintain a dengue free enviornment to avoid spreading of Dengue .
