Police Anti Narcotic Bureau officials have today (01)arrested a Lorry Driver and around
400,000 Cigarette sticks illegally imported from Dubai via Ship whilst transportation near Wwimaladharma Clock Tower at Colombo Fort from Colombo Harbor today (01).
The stock of Cigarettes had been imported from Dubai on the pretext of importing Ship spare parts it has been revealed.
The Estimated value of the stock of Cigarette sticks taken in to custody by the Officials is around Rs.20 million it has been revealed.
Police Anti Narcotic Bureau officials are currently investigating in to arrest the Businessman based in Wattala area who was responsible for importing the stock of Cigarette sticks .
