Around Ten feet area on
Thalawathugoda -Hokandara road had suddenly sunk this morning (17)and as a result transport activities of the sunken area had been completely stopped .
Police have advised the Motorists to use an alternative routes when travelling.
Due to the Sunken area few other areas nearby had minorly sunk and recieved cracks it has been revealed.
Authorities believes the part of the road had sunk may be due to recent heavy showers and Heavy Vehicles travelled on the road
