Two persons ,A 13 year old boy and a
42 year old person had been drowned whilst bathing in Galaboda canal one of the main branches flowing water to Mahaweli River ,at Mapakanda -Ingurugoda area in Nawalapitiya this morning (22).
The deceased who were residents of Hatton area had been drowned whilst bathing with few of their relatives it has been reported .Almost three of them drowned and relatives had managed to save one of them.
Later bodies of the two deceased persons had been recovered and sent to Nawalapitiya Hospital .
