A "Ford Musrang"Motor Car Earlier Belongs To MP Namal Rajapakshe And Under FCID Custody Was Released On Bond

Kaduwela Magistrate Court has
released a Luxurious "Ford Mustang "Motor Car which was sold by the MP Namal Rajapakshe to another person and later taken in to custody by Financial Crimes Investigations Division (FCID) as a legal item of a case filed against former President Mahinda Rajapakshe s second son Yoshitha  Rajapakshe ,back to new owner on a bond .

The Car was taken in to custody by the FCID on 05 th of September 2016 while at a garage in Kaduwela and parked it at the FCID Premises in Colombo Fort.

According to the new owner of the Car it was imported by the MP Namal Rajapakshe from a duty free car permit received  as a Parliamentarian and sold to him .

Although the Motor Car was released after two years since taken in to custody owner has agreed to the court that he will produce it before the court when requested as the court case related to the car is  still  pending .
