The owner of the Perpetual Tresuries Limited Arjun Aloysius and the Chief Executive officer of the Limited Kasun Palisena who were arrested and remanded over the Controversial Central Bank Bond Scam had been further remanded until 23 rd of August by the Colombo Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne today (09).
The two suspects were produced before the court today.
Meanwhile Colombo Chief Magistrate has ordered 13 state and private banks to submit account details of five Institutes belonging to the Perpetual Tresuries Limited by 24 the of this month.
The Lawyers appearing on behalf of the respondents had requested the court to release the Billions of money earned by the Perpetual Tresuries before Bond Scam and banned by the Central Bank.
