A Fire Erupted at a Furniture
manufacturing Shop belonging to a Private Company at Palpola in Kalutara North had been doused by the Fire Brigades in Horana,Kalutara and Bandaragama today (01) with the assistance of Kalutara North Police and residents of the area.
Due to the fire a worker had been received minor injuries and four ther workers were admitted to Horana Hospital due to breathing problems caused as a result of inhalation of toxic gas .
The cause of the fire has not yet been revealed.
Kalutara North Police are conducting an investigations over the incident.
