Train services at the Upcountry Railway line have been not functioned at present due to the derailment of a Fuel transporting Train at Pilimathalawa Railway station last night(18).
The derailed Train had veered off the Railway track and caused the disruption of Train services in the Railway line it has been reported.
Due to this situation several Train Services in the route have been cancelled and some Trains are running up to Pilimathalawa Railway station according to the Authorities.
The removal of fuel from the oil tanks of the derailed Train and transporting them is currently underway and process is underway to bring back the derailed Train to normalcy.
