A Deputy Solicitor General Appointed To Assist The Inquiry Against MP Vijayakala Maheswaran

An Additional Solicitor General has been appointed as the representative of the Attorney General's Department by the Attorney General to get legal advise from Attorney General during the inquiry that is being conducted  against former State Minister of Women's and Child Affairs Vijayakala Maheswaran over LTTE Favoured speech made by her .

The Additional Solicitor General had been appointed as per the request made by Crimes Prevention Division from Attorney General  to appoint a Legal Officer to  get Attorney General's Advise during the inquiry.
