The Central Mail Exchange in Colombo had been closed due to the ongoing continuous strike of the Postal Workers belonging to 23 Postal Trade Unions it has been reported.Bags with a Large number of local/ foreign postal letters and Parcels are being seen s trucked in the Central mail exchange due to the strike.However some post offices throughout the island are being functioned without any disruptions it has been rported.
Postal Trade Unions have launched the strike from 4 p.m last evening (11) by demanding solutions for their unresolved demands.
