A female has died in Badalkumbura
area of Monaragala yesterday(19)due to a branch of a tree has fallen on her as a result of the heavy showers it has been reported.
Meanwhile a soil mound had collapsed on a house in Ambalangoda area ,However three residents of the house had managed to escape unharmed.
Due to the adverse weather several roads in many provinces of the country had been submerged due to flood waters.
One sluice gate each of the Daduru Oya and Udawalawe reservoir have been opened due to the rising water levels of them
