Three Persons Including A Wild Life Officer Were Injured Due To A Wild Elephant Attack

A wild Life officer and two civilians

were injured and hospitelized due to a Wild Elephant attack at Allimul village in Nindavur-Samanthurai in Ampara yesterday(15).

The Injured were admitted to the Ampara Hospital for treatment and the critically injured Wild Life officer had been transferred to Kandy Teaching Hospital for further treatment.

They have faced this incident while attempting to chase away a group of Wild Elephants entered the Allimul village yesterday.

Later few famillies of the village have been moved to safe places due to the Wild Elephant tbreat.
