A Heavy traffic is being reported from Colombo-Kandy main road at present due to the temporary closure of the road in front of the Kelaniya University ,as a result of a protest launched by a group of University students this noon (24).The Colombo-Kandy Main road was closed in front of the Kelaniya University after the group of students attached to the University had protested blocking the road it has been revealed.
Police have requested the motorists to use an alternative roads due to this situation.
