A Mother and her Daughter were killed and Three others including a Three
Wheeler Driver were critically injured and hospitalized after the Three
Wheeler they were traveling in colliding with a parked vehicle near a road at
Ambagahavila Junction in Mapalagama area last night(20).The five critically injured persons including two girls,two females and the Three Wheeler Driver were admitted to the Niyagama Rural Hospital and two females and two girls were later transferred to the Elpitiya Hospital where the Female and her daughter had succumbed to their injuries .
Pitigala Police have arrested the driver of the Parked vehicle regarding the accident.
