Uva Chief Minister Had Given A Three Hour Statement To The Human Rights Commission Over Kneeling Down Of A Female Principal

The Human Rights Commission officials had today(01) recorded a statement of  Uva Provincial Chief Minister Chamara Sampath Dassanayake for around three hours regarding an allegation leveled against him over kneeling down of the female Prinicipal of Badulla.Hindu Girls School R.Bhawani .
Uva Provincial Chief Minister Dassanayake who had refused to attend before the Human Rights Commission today citing an official work of him had however appeared before the Commission at 9 a.m as per the Commission requested.
He was received summons to appear before the Commission today.After recording a statement from the Chief Minister Human Rights Commission begun recording a statement from Superintendent of Police attached to the  Badulla Police Headquarters E..M.T.G.V Thennakoon this noon.
 
The Human Rights Commission had  begun the investigations on 25th of January over the kneeling down of the female principal by  Uva Chief Minister over not taking an action regarding his recommendation  letter on admitting a student to the school .The Commission had questioned the Principal of the Badulla Hindu Girls School around 10 hours over the incident on the first day of investigations.

.The Complaint was made by the President of Lanka Teachers Union Joseph Stalin.
