A three wheeler and a trade stall in the road side have been damaged due to a falling down of a huge Mara Tree located at Thawaluwila area in Ambalanthota on Colombo-Kataragama main road to the ground this morning(13).A communication line post had also collapsed to the ground due to this ,However no one got injured due to the incident it has been revealed.
Due to the fallen Tree, Transport activities on the Colombo-Kataragama main road have been disrupted it has been reported.
The fallen tree was removed from the road by the Police with the assistance of residents and Ambalanthota Pradeshiya Sabha members.
