Former Justice Minister and United National Party MP Wijedasa Rajapakshe has decided to resign from the membership of the Constitutional Council he has announced today(28).The UNP MP had informed the President Mahinda Rajapakshe on his decision by a letter it has been revealed.
He has served as the Prime Minister's representative in the Constitutional Council since 09th of September 2015 and his term is scheduled to be ended on 09th of September 2018.
