Two houses were completely destroyed and One House was partially damaged due to a sudden fire erupted in a Housing scheme at Welioya Estate in Hatton this morning(16).The fire Brigade attached to the Hatton Urban Council,Hatton Police Officers and Estate Workers have doused the fire .
No casualties have been reported due to the fire ,However three families who were displaced as a result of their houses affected by the fire have been moved to temporary shelters by the Estate Owners.
Electricity Board has taken steps to disconnect the Electricity supply to the whole housing scheme in the estate to prevent further damage.
The cause of the fire not yet been revealed.
