Airport Customs Have Arrested A Sri Lankan With Foreign Currency Notes

Airport customs officers have arrested a 44 year old
Sri Lankan national attempting to smuggle  a stock of foreign currency notes worth around Rs.3.7 million to Singapore , at Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport last night (02).

Customs officers have recovered a stock of foreign currency notes including US Dollars,Sterlin Pounds and Qatari Riyal concealed inside the luggage of the suspect who is a resident of Colombo.

Later customs officers have confiscated the stock of Foreign currency notes and released the suspect on Rs.100,000 bail.
