Government has gazetted the maximum retail prices
of local and imported rice varieties in the market with effect from last friday (04).
Accordingly A maximum retail price of Rs.90 directed for a kilo gramme of local Samba rice and a price of a kilo gramme of imported Samba rice should be Rs.80.
The price of a kilo gramme of local red raw rice should be Rs.78 and a kilo gramme of imported red raw rice should be sold for Rs.65.The price of a kilo gramme of local Nadu rice should be Rs.80 and a kilo gramme of imported Nadu rice should be Rs.75.
Every producer,Importer and a Distributor should be sold these varities of Rice according to the prices directed through the gazette according to the authorities.
