Due to the Drought experienced at present the authorities have decided to limit the number of Tourists entering the Wilpaththu Wid National Park from 01st of August .Accordingly limited number of Tourists will be allowed to enter the Park from 6.00 a.m to 11.30 a/m .Earlier the Authorities have decided to closed down the Park completely ,However after consultation with the Minister of Sustainable Development and Wildlife Gamini Jayawikrama Perera ,The wild life Conservation Department has decide to limit the number of tourists entering the Park.
