Students attached to all the Medical Faculties in the island are due to launch protest campaigns from next Monday(24) against the attempt to arrest the convener of the Medical Faculty Students Action Committee Ryan Jayathilake and the assaulting of a group of University students in Kekirawa while distributing leaflets against SAITM.The Government Medical Officers Associaton(GMOA) has today(21) handed over a petition to the Colombo Office of United Nations High Commission for Refugees by stating that the government is adapting a policy of repressing the students of the country .
