Police have today (23) arrested the convener of the Inter University Students Federation Lahiru Weerasekare and Engineering Student of the University Of Moratuwa Faizar Ahamed over forcibly entering the Ministry Of Health and damaged it's property on last Wednesday(21) .The Police Officers attached to the Maradana Police have arrested the Convener of the IUSF and other student after a press briefing conducted by them in Maradana this morning.
After taken the suspects to the Maradana Police they have been questioned over the damaging of Health Ministry property and thereafter arrested them.
After being produced before the Maligakande Magistrate Court the suspected student activists have been remanded until 05th of July .
