Around 51 Students Have Died Due To Adverse Weather -Ministry Of Education

Around 51 students have died and 54,000 affected and displaced due to the recent floods and landslides occurred mainly in eight districts according to the Ministry Of Education.

There are programmes launched by the authorities as well as other organizations to purchase school items including test books,bags,uniforms for the school children who lost them.

Although the schools closed due to the adverse weather last week re opened  today(05) attendance of students was low the Ministry has stated.
