A 16 year old school boy was critically injured and
hospitalized after colliding with a post on the rail track and falling down while travelling on the footboard of a train in Nawalapitiya area this afternoon.
The critically injured student was admitted to the Nawalapitiya Base Hospital by "Podi Menike"train travelling from Badulla to Colombo fort.
The school boy who is a student of Tamil School in Norwood has met with the accident while travelling in a train with few of his fellow students .
