Former President Mahinda Rajapakshe Was Not Able To Appear Before The Presidential Commission

Former president Mahinda Rajapakshe was unable to
appear  before  the Presidential Commission investigating into the serious acts of fraud and corruption(PRECIFAC) today (17) his lawyers have informed the Commission.

The commission has requested the former president to appear before the commission to record a statement regarding financial loss experienced by the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation as a result of the telecasing of former president's ads during the presidential campaign.

The former president requested another date to record a satement before the commission.
