Former DIG And Crimes OIC Further Remand

The former Deputy Inspector General Of Police

(DIG)Anura Senanayake and fotmer Crimes OIC Sumith Perera who were arrested and remanded over the killing of former Sri Lankan Rugby Player Wasim Thajudeen had been ordered to remand further by the  Colombo Fort Additional Magistrate until 02nd of February.

The Additional Magistrate has also granted permission to the Police to hand over the CCTV video  footage to Colombo University to identify the vehicle which followed the assasinated former Rugby Player Thajudeen's vehicle in the day he was murdered when the case was taken up for hearing today (19).
