Negambo Magistrate Court has today(09) further remanded the 19 persons including Three Wheeler Drivers who had protested last Friday(02) by blocking the Negambo-Galkanda Railway crossing during the private Bus/Three Wheeler strike launched that day ,until 16th of December.All 19 suspects had been produced before the Negambo Magistrate Court today.
Police have arrested the protestors as they protested by violating the court order issued against the protest and filed a court case against them on charges of damaging the public property,defamed the court ,unlawful gathering and interrupting police activities .
