The former Prime Minister and Kaluthara District Parliamentarien of United Peoples Freedom Alliance(UPFA)Rathnasiri Wikramanayake passed away short while ago at the age of 83 while recieving tretament at a Private Hospital in Narahenpita(Colombo).He was appointed as Prime Minister of four previous UPFA Governments in 2000,2001,2005 and in 2010 by the Former Presidents Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumarathunge and Mahinda Rajapaskshe.
Late Rathnasiri Wikramanayake was born on 05th of May 1933 and held several Ministerial Portfolios during previous Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) led governments.
