Around 128 SLTB Buses Are Being Attacked During Yesterday's Strike

Around 128 state owned Sri Lanka Transport Board

(SLTB) Buses are being attacked by unidentified persons during the islsnd wide strike launched by Private Bus Operators and a section of Three Wheeler drivers according to the SLTB chairman Ramal Siriwardana.

Due to one of these attacks an Army Corprol had injured and admitted to Anuradhapura General Hospital for treatment and he is still in an unconcious state the SLTB Chairman  has stated.

The Army Corprol got injured due to a stone attack in Mihintale area while he was on the way home from a SLTB Bus it has been reported.

Meanwhile SLTB Profit has been increased by 10 percent during yesterday's Private Bus /Three Wheeler strike the authorities have announced.
