Weliweriya (Western Province) Police have today (10) arrested 11 youths with a haul of heroin worth more than Rs.300,000 in their possession at Weliweriya area in Gampaha District.The suspects ages between 20-30 are identified as residents in Weliweriya and Colombo.
Police have produced 09 out of the 11 arrested youth before the Gampaha Magistrate Court today and the other 02 suspects are due to be produced before the court.
Weliweriya Police are conducting an investigations on the incident.
