One person was killed and three others injured and hospitalized today (03) following the car they were travelling in collided with a safety fence located near the Kuda Oya police check point at Thanamalvila area according to the police.The injured were admitted to the Thanamalvila Base Hospital and later they were transferred to Hambanthota Base Hospital for further treatment.
The accident occurred as the driver of the car had fallen a sleep at the time of the accident the Thanamalvila Plice have stated.
The deceased has been identified as a 28 year old resident in atampitiya in Bandarawela Area.Thanamalvila Police are conducting an investigation on the incident.
