New Drug Prices Reduction Mechanism To Be Introduced During The Professor Bibile Commemorative On This Friday

The new Drug prices reduction mechanism prepared by the Independent Drug Regulatory Authority is  to be introduced during  the Professor Senaka Bibile Commemorative Ceremony scheduled to be held at Sri Lanka Foundation Institute -Colombo on this Friday(23).

The Drugs which are subjected to be reduced under the National Medicinal Drug Policy will officially  announce at the ceremony according to the Ministry Of Health,Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine.

Health Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne has announced this in Parliament yesterday  (20) .Earlier the Drug Prices Reduction Mechanism is due to be introduced on 31st of August but it delayed due to some technical problems occurred when preparing the mechanism according to the Drug Regulatory Authority.

Professor Priyadarshani Galappaththi is due to deliver the Professor Senaka Bibile Commemorative S peach at the commemorative ceremony.
