A female pilgrim was killed and seventeen other pilgrims injured and hospitalized following the private bus they were travelling in veered off the road and turned upside down at Nachchikuda Area {in northern province} yesterday morning.After the accident eighteen pilgrims including seven females in the bus were admitted to the Jaffna Hospital and one female pilgrim succumbed to her injuries upon admission to the hospital.▪
Nachchikuda Police are conducting an investigation on the incident.
