The Ministry Of Health,Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine has filed legal cases against 139 house/institution owners yesterday (30)who have maintained Dengue Mosquito Breeding Places in their premises belonging to five districts during the first day of the island wide three day Dengue Control Programme launched by the Ministry.During the inspections carried out by tri forces and health officials of around 18,055 premises at Colombo,Kalutara,Gampaha.Matale and Kandy districts notices were issued to 853 premises owners for maintaing dengue mosquito breeding grounds in their premises.
The three day Dengue Control Programme implemented island wide is due to conclude by tomorrow(02).
