Sri Lanka Navy have detained five persons with 142 sea cucumbers in their possession and two fiberglass dinghies (boats) at Palaikuda Beech Area as they have harvested sea cucumbers without a valid license according to the Navy.The detained persons with the stock of sea cucumbers and fiber glass dinghies were handed over to the pooneryn fisheries inspector for future course of action the Navy have stated.
