President Maithripala Srisena is due to leave for Japan today(25) to participate the G-7 Summit of the industrial powers to be held in ise-shima,Japan from 26th to 27th of May as an outreach partner.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has officially invited the Sri Lankan President to participate the summit attended by heads of seven industrial countries the United States,Japan,United Kingdom,Germany,France,Italy and Canada.
The G-7 Summit of this year will be focused on to share the values of democracy,human rights and rules of law by pointing out the best way foe peace and prosperity.The summit will also focused on global trade and economy,climate change and energy,foreign policy,quality infrastructure and development,health and women and development.
