If the rain currently prevails in continues for another 24 hours there's a possibility of occurring Landslides and cut slope failures in several areas of Rathnapura and Badulla Districts according to the National Building Research Organization(NBRO). Accordingly it there's a continuous rain within next 24 hours landslides and cut slope failures will occur in Eheliyagoda,Embilipitiya,Balangoda and Imbulpe areas of Rathnapura District and Haldummulla and surrounding areas in Badulla District NBRO has stated.
