The Former President Mahinda Rajapaksha has left for Thailand today (23) to attend religious ceremonies organized at several Buddhist Temples there according to reports.This is the first time that the former President went abroad since his defeat at the Presidential Election held on 08th of January 2015.
The Former President who left for Thailand accompanied by former external affairs minister Professor G.L Pieris is due to return to the country on 26th of April.
