The Police have arrested a female from Chavakachcheri (In Northern Province) early this morning with 70 Gold Biscuits worth more than Rs.39 Million in her possession According to Police Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekera.The 50 year old suspected female has been arrested near the Sangani Railway Station at Chavakachcheri ,Jaffna according to an information received by SSP Jaffna the Police Media Spokesman has said.
The Police have found 70 Gold Biscuits weighing around 7 Kilo Grammes and each worth around Rs.562,000 in her possession,The value of the detained Gold is estimated as Rs.39,340,000.
