The Vice Chancellor of the General Sir John Kothalawala Defense University Major General Milinda Pieris has been appointed as the new Chief Of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army with effect from today(12).With this appointment Major Pieris will become the 47 Chief Of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army.
Major General A.K.S Perera the Commander of Security Force Headquarters -Central has been appointed as the new Deputy Chief Of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army with effect from 16th of February 2016.
