The World's largest "Blue Star Sapphire has been discovered from a Gem Mine in Ratnapura District(In Sabaragamuwa Province) and estimated it could sell for up to US Dollars 175 million according to Gemology Institute in Colombo.The Blue Star Sapphire is weighing 1404.49 Carrots according to the Institute.
The new gem valued around US Dollars 100 million the reports said.
