The General Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena Venerable Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thero has been arrested this morning by the Homagama Police after he had surrendered to the Police per the arrest warrant issued against him by the court .After being produced before Homagama Magistrate Court ,Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thero has been remanded until 09th of February by the Magistrate.
The Homagama Magistrate has issued an arrest warrant against Gnanasara Thero on the charge of threatening Sandya Eknaligoda the wife of missing cartoonist Prageeth Eknaligoda at court premises.
